2009年1月正式颁布了AS9100 C版标准。

与AS9100 B版比较，主要由以下几个方面修改：
Compared with the AS9100 B version, mainly from the following several aspects to modify:
A.扩大了适用范围

增加了国防工业组织。 标准的名称更改为“航空、航天和国防组织质量管理体系要求”。

F.顾客满意度，增加了ISO9001：2008版的内容。
G.删除了B版标准条款8.2.2有关“应采用适用的工具和技术如检查单、过程流程图以及类似方法以支持质量管理体系要求的审核。所选择的工具的适用性将由内部审核过程的有效性和整个组织的业绩来测量。内部审核也应满足合同和/或法规的要求。”的要求。（条款8.2.2）
